We have controlled environments that improve quality, safety and programme certainty, before it reaches site.
Offsite expertise directly within ESG
Production alongside the build programme
Consistent quality across every design
Less waste and improved productivity
Greater confidence in programme
By designing suitable mechanical and electrical assemblies for manufacture in a controlled environment, we can work in parallel with the main construction programme, reduce reliance on site trades and make installation safer, simpler and more predictable.
We use offsite manufacture where it brings a genuine benefit to the project, whether that means improving quality, reducing waste, shortening installation periods or making better use of skilled labour. With dedicated design knowledge and established manufacturing capability, ESG can support the process from early coordination through manufacture, delivery and installation.
Successful DfMA begins with the design. Our teams consider coordination, buildability, connections, logistics and installation requirements early so each solution is developed around how it will be manufactured, transported and installed.
Our capability extends beyond design into assembly, quality control, logistics and installation. Connecting these stages gives ESG greater visibility over the finished solution and creates a clearer route from coordinated design to completed installation.
Preassembled utility cupboards bring multiple building services together into one coordinated package. Manufactured away from site, they help provide consistent quality across repeated installations while reducing final-fix activity and supporting faster installation.
Horizontal building services distribution can be assembled offsite and delivered as coordinated modules ready for installation. This allows production to run alongside the main programme while reducing the amount of work and the number of trades required at ceiling level on site.
Vertical service distribution can be engineered into sectional riser modules for controlled manufacture and efficient installation. Early coordination helps resolve interfaces before production begins and can save valuable programme time compared with traditional installation methods.
Preassembled wall modules provide an effective solution for low-level mechanical and electrical distribution. Built within a controlled environment, they help simplify repetitive installations, improve consistency and reduce activity on site.
